Palhelp is here for anyone in Southern Tasmania, with a life-limiting palliative condition. We are dedicated to helping you live your best life now.
Our volunteers provide companionship at home, in the community, or in healthcare settings. We match you and your needs with a supportive Palhelper. It's important to have someone to talk to, to go out with for a couple of hours, or to accompany you to medical appointments and to give your family carers some time out too.
Our Mission
Palhelp's network of volunteers provide compassionate support and care to individuals with life-limiting palliative conditions. We are committed to enhancing quality of life, by providing companionship and assistance at home, in the community, or in healthcare settings.
We have a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals and families living with palliative illness.
Our volunteers provide regular, personal connection, as companions, who can help to improve your wellbeing.
Having a regular visitor at home for 2-3 hours each week also gives family carers a much needed break.
