Time for a chat?
The early months of the year can bring us renewed energy, after relaxing holidays. Of course Christmas and New Year can be bittersweet for anyone who has experienced bereavement. This is the perfect time to look around for support in the community, to help rebuild social connection. Our Walking Through Grief Program is extremely well-attended. Fortnightly walks around the Hobart region, followed by a cuppa' in a beautiful location, offer people a chance to build some resilience in the company of others who share some of the experiences of bereavement.

Talk without the Walk
Rachel, our Walking Through Grief program Co-ordinator has come up with a great idea for those who find it hard to join the walking group, or simply have less time free. She is hosting Bereavement Cafes all over Southern Tasmania, from Dunalley to the Derwent Valley, South to Woodbridge and over to Geeveston. It really does feel good to talk.
Get in touch with Rachel if your organisation can host a cafe or if you want to find out when the next Bereavement Support Cafe is happening: She can be contacted on 03 6231 9249 or email cafe@palhelp.org
